Orange Projects

Bacolod City's modern art hub that is pushing the frontiers of Philippine regional art. While hidden in the center of Lopue's Mandalagan, a local shopping and commercial complex, the modern art space became a driving force in broadening the debates and possibilities of art. The 18-year-old facility began as an artist-run selling gallery in 2005, with the goal of creating a market for Negrense artists. Over time, the emphasis at Negros Occidentales moved from a market-oriented approach to a venue for training young artists.
